For 12 years I was disabled, bed-bound and had to have a live-in

housekeeper  to bring up my children..

Because I was suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ Myalgic Encephalopathy  CFS/M.E.

Then I changed to a low carbohydrate diet because I had done a lot of  research  into nutrition over the years in my quest for good health and having been a nurse was interested in learning about the effects of nutrition on the  body.

I began to learn about the effects of sugar and carbohydrates on the  body, insulin excess and the resultant hormonal havoc and it made sense to  reduce  my carbohydrates to reduce my insulin levels.

Within three weeks of changing my diet my strength started to come back,  my  head cleared, my infections resolved and within six months I was  recovered  to the point that  I could take on all that the house keeper used to do -  looking after the children and the house, even doing the shopping - for  the  first time in many years.

Within 18 months I had fully regained my strength - I got my life back!

From all I have gone through, I now BELIEVE that our high carbohydrate, western diet is weakening us and I am sure that there are many other  people who have recovered using a change of diet such as mine.

The sad truth is that there are many, many more who are still suffering  who could be well if they just changed their diets!

For those people, trapped in a situation not of their own making,  I am writing my own story ABOUT MY OWN recovery to inspire them and give them not just hope but the real life tools to claim back the health they once knew, the health they deserve.

They will find out how I discovered the truth about low carb eating;  exactly how I changed my diet - what I ate and what I cut out from my  diet; and how each obstacle that was put in my path was over come.

I must share the whole story as a thank you for this new health that I now know.

If you have been through this and want to share your story along side mine then I would love to include your story in the book TO GIVE HOPE TO ALL THOSE  WHO ARE STILL SUFFERING..

Thank you.
